The albumin is a family of globular protein commonly found in the blood plasma. It provides the body with the protein needed to both maintain growth and repair tissues. The albumin family consists of all proteins that are water-soluble, are moderately soluble in concentrated salt solutions. Substances containing albumins, such as egg white, are called albuminoids. One of the most important sources of Albumin is soybean.
