What is a chemical peel in skin care? | MaxLife News

Chemical Peel is a skin care technique or therapy to reduce or improve lines, wrinkles, blemishes, pigment spots, and sun-damaged areas of the skin by using a chemical solution of TCA (trichloroacetic acid), Lactic Acid, AHA (alpha hydroxy fruit acid), Kojic Acid or Salicylic Acid. The top dead skin cells are peeled off, new young, smoother skin with tighter cells are replaced and you look at least 10 years younger.

The chemical peel with its exceptional propensity for skin penetration counteracts a number of typical skin problems such as fine lines and wrinkles, irregular skin pigmentation, clogged pores, acne and pimples. Typical chemical  peel reverses the damage of photo aging by stimulating collagen and elastin production consequently increasing skin resilience and strength.

What are the benefits of chemical peels for skin?
The accelerated tissue proliferation restructures the dermis and improves overall skin health and agility.
It is also the best to 1. remove dead skin cells, 2. regenerate healthy skin, 3. lighten the skin tone, 4. remove fine lines, 5. reduce deep wrinkles, 6. open clogged pores, 7. treat acne, 8. increase collagen and elastin growth (skin barrier repair), 9. reduce enlarged pores, 10. improve texture and clarity of skin, 11. fade/reduce/remove dark and liver spots (Hyperpigmentation).

Rejuvenating Neck
If you pass patch test on the neck area, daily use of this serum will provide you a noticeable results of reducing fine lines, lifting the sagged skin and hydrating skin on the neck at the most affordable costs.

Stretch Marks
This serum can help fade stretch marks over time. By applying it to your skin, you peel away the top layers to reveal healthier skin underneath. It’s normal to see some peeling of your skin after using a glycolic acid treatment, but not everyone experiences this.  You should notice an improvement in texture and coloration of your skin. Several treatments are required before you will notice a change in your stretch marks.

How could I use chemical peels for skin beauty? (Before you begin, read about Patch Test).
Preferably in the evening,
1.  Wash face thoroughly with cleanser to remove any remaining oil on the surface of skin for applying this serum evenly.
2.  Apply this chemical Peel serum/cream gently and evenly with or without cotton pads/fan brush.
3.  Wash out and do towel dry after 15-30 minutes and apply post chemical peel cream or serum (Beta Glucan cream, Collagen cream/serum, Ceramide cream/serum or Hyaluronic Acid cream/serum) or your favorite daily cream.

Start this once a week or twice and watch your skin conditions carefully. You may increase it up to 3-4 times a week if your skin can tolerate it. Stop or decrease it if your skin becomes satisfying, too thin or sensitive.

Sunburn Alert:
All chemical peel product contain a certain Acid that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product. We strongly recommend to use SPF 30 at least for one week after you stop using any chemical peel products.

If you have any side effects including burning or tingling sensation, heightened skin sensitivity, redness and peeling noted upon initial contact, consider these as normal (side) effects even on the normal skin when you use chemical peel products. These are very normal and will be disappeared soon.
If any of these effects are excessive or discomfort you, use 1% hydrocortisone cream and/or stop using chemical peel serum or cream. You may buy 1% hydrocortisone ointment or cream for a few dollars at any drug store. You will be recovered soon. Otherwise, consult with a medical doctor.

MaxLife USA, Inc offers you milder, stronger grades of serums and creams of chemical peels. Generally, cream type is milder than serum type at the same percentages but these are still  potent to rejuvenate the old skin.

1.  have a patch test if you are the 1st time user of any chemical peel products.
2. combine chemical peels products and post chemical peel products to minimize any complications and ensure the best result.
