Now a day’s skin and hair conditioning are like necessity for modern day men and women. Either it’s preparation for parties or ones on regular grooming, conditioning has become a must do thing in one’s life to present themselves more refreshing and elegant.

Pyridoxine HCL (hydrochloride salt) or commonly called as vitamin B-6 is a good example of conditioning agent. It is a naturally found compound which is used in cosmetics and personal care products. Pyridoxine is used as a skin and hair conditioning agent, and is found in a wide variety of formulas, including bath products, soaps and detergents, cleansing products, hair care products, and skin care lotions.

Pyridoxine HCL (B-6) when applied naturally in the body, it assists in the balancing of sodium and potassium as well as promoting red blood cell production. It is also thought to be a preventative for dandruff, eczema (Condition in which patches of skin become rough and inflamed with blisters), and psoriasis (red, itchy, scaly patches). Research has also shown that pyridoxine has antibacterial and antioxidants properties. So it is useful to skins having acne problem when applied topically.

FDA has approved pyridoxine and has given it GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) rating. That is a plus point for the customers whom are conscious of their intakes and topical products.
